We introduce you to local farmers, grocers, producers, restaurants, wellness providers, and not-for-profit organizations. We encourage and promote an open caring world one community at a time.

Working Together

‚ÄčOur community of communities' success includes real people sharing their love about their village. Share your knowledge of environmentally and socially responsible local farmers, grocers, producers, restaurants, wellness providers, & the many not-for-profit organizations who hold the pulse of your home. Your ideas and recommendations are always welcome!

Enhanced Menus

Sharing our member restaurants' concern for your well-being, our Enhanced Menus at minimum, identify the presence of any FDA most common food allergen plus gluten in any menu item. All restaurants show how they handle potential allergens with an Allergy Conscious Statement. We encourage sharing local sources, dietary styles, food production methods...

Knowledge is key

We answer your questions. Where can I find fresh local produce? Who is creating unique products locally? Who are the holistic health & wellness providers? How does this community work together? Where can I get a good allergen free meal? What methods does a farmer use? What organizations need volunteers? Where can I donate to a great cause? How can I feed my family? We are people helping people.

Social & Environmental Responsibility

Highlighting our members' programs for recycling & composting, alternative energy use, benefits & wages, & giving back to the community. We show what is good! We give back too. Our profit sharing program includes 5% to food security for all, 5% to health & wellness programs, 5% to member communities & 5% to our employees.

Positive Identification

The FDA 8+1 most common food allergens: Milk, Egg, Fish, Crustacean/shellfish, Tree nuts, Peanuts, Wheat, Soy & Gluten must be identified when contained in menu item ingredients. Other food allergens & additives may be identified consistently on menus. Positive sourcing & preference labeling like Farm to Table, Certified Organic, Vegan, Grass Fed, Halal, & Kosher may be seen as well.

  • Friendly Fork's promise to you

We bring you menus from restaurants everywhere, identifying the ingredients of concern to you. We provide a service to create allergen menus for individual restaurants. Working individually with each restaurant added to the site, we customize their menu to identify food allergens, as well as other noteworthy factors such as: Certified Organic, Non-GMO, Local Foods, Farm to Table and much more. We are developing a company which will share profits with those doing research into food allergies, as well as providing grants to people who have to change their diets because of food allergies.
